Soil Balancing
Nutrient contents and ratios in the soil with a measured cation exchange capacity. Multi-year fertiliser plan that brings all nutrients into balance.
- Standard: CEC, pH, humus, macro- & micronutrients
- Premium: plus Mo, Co, Se
Nutrients, soil life and reserves in one report – measured in accredited laboratories, interpreted into clear measures for the years ahead.

Download the order form for your package, fill it in, send it to the lab with the sample.

Nutrient contents and ratios in the soil with a measured cation exchange capacity. Multi-year fertiliser plan that brings all nutrients into balance.
How active is the soil life – and which nutrients actually reach the plant?
Total reserve of all nutrients in the soil. Shows what can be mobilised in the long run – ideal for a first survey.
Do-it-yourself test: microbial biomass and fungal-to-bacterial ratio in 20 minutes with your smartphone.
Soil Balancing changes the soil over years. Haney shows every year what the main crop really gets. When to repeat Soil Balancing is told by the nutrient balance in your report:
Know ratios, soil life and reserves. Action plan for the coming years.
Fine-tuning the nutrient supply of the main crop.
Track the effect of your measures on soil biology.
Large imbalances need large amounts – and their effect is harder to predict because of many environmental factors. So re-sample 2–3 years after the first measures.
Small corrections are easy to predict – the next survey is due 5–7 years after the measures.
Every sample gets its pages; at the end all fields stand side by side.

From the Haney analysis: ratio Ca + Mg : Al. If the needle is in the red, liming becomes mandatory – the amount flows straight into the fertiliser recommendation.

All fields and sub-fields on one page: deviation from target per parameter, bar up to the red line = target reached.

No graveyard of numbers: what is the problem, what to do, where the amount is. Plus the fertiliser recommendation in kg/ha.
Crop-specific annual fertiliser recommendation from your analyses, all results of your farm in one place, order form straight from the tool. Launch: 2026/27.
Break crusts, control weeds at the cotyledon stage and bring air into the topsoil – one of the measures the report recommends for “too little active C”. BodenBalance sells rotary hoes from 3 to 12 m working width – e.g. 6 m from €10,850 net. Just get in touch.
